Jason Stotz
Jason grew up as an athlete and musician. He was excited with the opportunity to combine his athletic and artistic efforts through dance. He fell into dance almost by accident his senior year of high school when he began taking dance classes at Images in Dance in Batavia, NY. After several months of dancing, almost on a whim, he auditioned for the University at Buffalo Dance Department, where he would ultimately receive his BFA in dance. While attending UB, he attended the Rochester City Ballet Summer Intensive and the Joffrey Midwest and New York Intensives. He also took a leave of absence from UB for a semester to dance at the Joffrey Ballet School on scholarship. Upon receiving his BFA, he danced professionally with the Iacano Ballroom Center and Configuration Dance Theatre of Buffalo, NY. He then began a career as a personal trainer, teaching private lessons and group fitness classes in NYC and LA. He is now in the process of completing his National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification, and plans to also complete Ayurveda and massage therapy certifications. This is Jason’s second season with MCB.
