Lecture Demonstrations

Missouri Contemporary Ballet strongly believes that young people should be introduced to the art of dance. MCB lecture demonstrations would enable them to appreciate the superb spectacle the human body is capable of presenting.

MCB's Ballet Master, Sean France, takes the audience through a day in the life of a professional dancer. This includes:

• A shortened version of a classical ballet class.
• Volunteers are given an opportunity to try out their skills on the stage.
• A short piece from our repertoire.
• Q&A with the dancers and Ballet Master.

The result is that young audience members are left with a new appreciation of the wonders of contemporary ballet and the remarkable talents of the company members of Missouri Contemporary Ballet.
